Indian culture is full of royalty & grandeur and as we all know India is one country with millions of different traditions and rituals. But when it comes to Indian clothing, it is kind of similar in almost every region with a few changes depending on climate, local culture, and religion, as well as urban or rural settings. Saree
The saree is a long unstitched piece of clothing which is draped around and over the body with a fitted blouse and a petticoat underneath. Also, the draping style changes according to the regional traditions but the most common way to drape a Indian saree is by wrapping the fabric around the waist with one end draped over the shoulder.

The salwar suit is mostly worn in Northern parts of India like Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. It consists: the salwar, a loose pleated bottom, a fitted kameez and paired with a long stole called dupatta. Indian Salwar kameez has originated mainly from Punjab region, Punjabi women even till date flaunt salwar suits as their wedding dress.
Lehenga Choli
The lehenga choli is the traditional dress of Northern India like Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh. The lehenga is a long flared skirt paired with a fitted choli and a dupatta to finish the look. The lehenga choli is one of the most loved wedding outfits of all times. Lehenga is also known as the primary bridal outfit of India.
Kurta/Kurti
A Kurta/Kurti is simply a long shirt or blouse that falls below the waist and sometimes below the knees. In ancient times, kurta was the main attire for Indian men. With evolving fashion trends, Kurta has now become the main wardrobe staple for women too. This one is good for casual daily use or even as formal wear. Kurtis are mostly worn with churidars for a classic look and for a modern touch, you can carry a kurti with straight pants, dhoti pants, jeans or a skirt.
